President John Magufuli has revoked the appointment of Shinyanga Regional Commissioner Anne Kilango Malecela for filing falsified information about ghost workers.

President Magufuli sent packing the RC after said her region has no ghost worker while a separate team sent by state house found 45 non-existing workers.
The President also sent packing Shinyanga’s Region Administrative Secretary (RAS). Ms Kilango Macelela, 60, is the first RC to be sent packing by the President since he appointed RCs in a less than month ago.
Dr Magufuli, during the sworn-in ceremony mid last month, directed RCs to file ghost workers report in 15 days after the appointment. So far, according to the recently audit, there are 7,795 ghost workers countrywide.
